We are currently looking for new Rangers/Security people to join our small team to help provide security oversight in the late evenings.

The Ranger position is to provide assistance to ensure the reserve laws and rules are adhered to through professional rapport building with guests and visitors from 4pm to late.

We have fixed term and casual positions available starting from the 15th of December 2023 through to the 8th of February 2024.

Ideal candidates should have the following experience but not essential as training will be provided; 

• Valid first aid certificate. 

• Ability to think on your feet quickly in challenging environments
• Be confident in managing and resolving conflict
• Physical fitness and the ability to handle stress and pressure
• Health and safety experience
• Customer service experience 

Applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test before employment. 

The Kaiteriteri Recreation Reserve.

The Kaiteriteri Recreation Reserve is located at the gateway to the Abel Tasman National Park in the spectacular Tasman region and is a 50-minute drive from Nelson and 20 minutes from Motueka. Its vision is to be the best outdoor coastal recreation destination in New Zealand.
The Reserve has 250 hectares of historic coastal land including the famous Kaiteriteri Beach, Kaiteriteri Mountain Bike Park and Kaka Pa Historic Reserve. 

Although the Reserve has a responsibility to the Crown to manage this land, it is 100% funded through its commercial operations including: Accommodation & conferencing, Hospitality, Retail, Recreation and Concessions.
